Day 3, June 1st

Chris, Joe and Rob left this morning with a full carry of between 105lbs and 120lbs per person. They dropped half the load around 9,400 feet and continued with the other half which they cached around 10,000' before going back to camp at 9,400'.  They hoped to get to 11,000' but a small storm rolled in.  The snow didn't last long, but produced very flat light.

The rest of the team, Bill, Dave, Stony, and Ken hiked to 9,400' and set up camp.

Other than the short storm, they have had really good weather.  It warmed up quite a bit again and was quite hot by afternoon.

Tomorrow, Day 4 of the trip, TZT2 plans to move Camp to 11,000'. Rob, Chris and Joe will then come down and pick up the cache from 10,000' and haul it to 11,000'.

There is some acclimatizing and getting used to life on the mountain. They report that, "everyone is feelin' good!"

Itinerary:
Day 3, 6/1, Camp 1 to Cache 11,000' (4 miles/3200')
Day 4, 6/2, Camp 1 to Camp 2 11,000' (4 miles/3200')
Day 5, 6/3, Camp 2 acclimatization day
