First full day on the Mountain, Monday 5/31
Team TZT2 landed on the glacier yesterday around 4:30pm arriving with lots of other climbers also taking advantage of the nice weather. The team did some organizing, got some sleep, and got up around 3am this morning. They left camp around 6am on a 5.5mi journey to camp 1 arriving at 11:15am. The hike was cool and crunchy, but the day warmed up with a reading of 90 degrees on the vestibule.
So far everything is as scheduled on the itinerary!
